Hello all, I can't believe that it is Easter already! How the time has flown. I am not getting much time to update this blog at the minute but thank you all for continuing to visit.
We're coming to the end of my favourite time of the Stampin' Up year, Sale a bration, and I'd like to share with you a gorgeous set from the scrummy Spring mini catalogue.
The quote is from the gorgeous "Marry Me" set and the frame is one of the embossing folders, only £7.95 for two! I love using my Stampin Up markers to colour stamps and the fact that the colours of markers, ink, ribbon and cardstock are all matching makes whipping up a card like this really easy.
Remember that Sale a bration ends on the 31st March, so don't miss out on your lovely freebies today, one free stamp set or designer series paper pack for every £45 you spend. If you are interested in the starter kit you also benefit from any stamp set in the catalogue for free.

Sale a bration Elementary Elegance
Good evening all! It's my second favourite time of the Stampin Up year, Sale-A-Bration. From 24th January to 31st March you get free stamp sets and designer paper for every £45 that you spend. These sets and paper cannot be bought any other way and, as usual, I want them all!
You can also earn sets by hosting a party or signing up to be a demonstrator. These free sets are in addition to your already generous benefits from Stampin' Up so you can't fail to benefit. In this wintry weather what could be better than curling up with a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate and browsing through the catalogue.
This card was made with the gorgeous Elementary Elegance set which coordinates beautifully with the curly label punch. Why not gather some friends around and have a stamping party? I'll bring everything you need just bring your inspiration (and credit cards!). If you have a long wish list them why not consider buying the starter kit? There is no obligation to sell and you get a whopping 40% off your goodies as well as a free stamp set from the catalogue.
In other news my little dog is growing up fast and can almost be trusted in the craft room, she tends to bring me things and "ask" if she can chew them now! She far prefers it in the snow though!

Serene snowflakes
Hello all! I can't believe that it is nearly Christmas! The last month has just flown by and I may have to buy my Christmas cards this year as I haven't had time to make them (how embarrassing).
I thought I would share a card with you that I designed for my Stampin' Up lovely upline Michelle Last's quarterly training. It uses this year's new in colours Island Indigo, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder. I love the dreamy elegant feel that vellum gives a card and the new tiny brads work perfectly to attach the vellum to the card without dominating it. The stamps are from the oh so useful Season of Joy set.
I'm off to see if I can beat the deadline from Royal Mail and get my cards finished, wish me luck!

Apologies for my absence
Hello all, apologies for my absence here, life has been a bit hectic and this is the reason why!
Her name is Osita (shortened to Ossie). I have been trying to convince my husband to get a dog for ages with no luck but something must have finally sunk in (or he got tired of me lol) as we now have a wonderful addition to our household. Her mum wasn't very well and we had to pick her up a week earlier than expected so we weren't quite ready for her and all plans went out the window. As you can imagine with such a tiny 9 week old puppy, she can't come in to the craft room yet or be left to her own devices or she will chew everything. She has been trying to help me though but she just can't cut straight yet! Lol

New retiring list and free catalogue
Last chance list click to see the products retiring, and the discounts!
Hello everyone, what an exciting day for me today the Stampin' Up last chance list with all the retiring products has been released. While it is sad to say goodbye to so many lovely products, it just means that there is more room for the new exciting products coming in the new catalogue.
As a special for all my lovely customers I would like to offer you a free 2011-2012 catalogue with any order placed in the month of September over £25. I will post these catalogues to you first class as soon as I get them so the sooner you place an order, the greater chance you have of getting your own sneak peek!
The last chance list has some discounts and is "while stocks last" this means that Stampin' Up will update the list every day. As a customer it means that if you have your heart set on something from the list, order it as quickly as you can as it may sell out.
Last chance list orders still get hostess gifts and benefits so as all the hostess sets will be retiring, this is your last chance to get one of those as well.
Why not host as "last chance" party, you might get a sneaky peek at some new projects!

New home card
Good evening all, I hope you have been having a wonderful summer break, even if the weather has been downright weird at times!
I have had a really busy time lately, I had every intention of blogging recently but circumstances beyond my control have meant that my craft room has become a victim of DIY! My parents very kindly offered to fly over from Northern Ireland to help my husband and I do some really awkward DIY in our hall and landing. I very carefully emptied these rooms making sure that I could still use my craft room. Unfortunately the best laid plans always go awry and we ended up using my craft room as a storage room anyway, so I have been suffering from craft withdrawal!
Thankfully my very understanding hubby rescued some items from the room for me and I got to sit in the living room (which is now covered in Stampin' Up stuff) and make this card for some friends of ours who have moved into their very first home. I have been itching to use the Neighbourhood roller for a while, and I love how colouring in one house makes it stand out as theirs. I also used my markers to make some chequered paper and the oh so useful Timeless Type alphabet sizzlets to make my own sentiment. I have been using these more and more and love how they make the greeting a feature of the card.
I hope you like today's card and I'll end with a very quick reminder that it's only 5 days until we get to see that last chance list! Remember that you only have until the end of September to snap up those goodies and the hostess gifts which will all retire, so why not place an order or book a party to get your hands on those stamp sets.
